On the way to obtaining the most widespread national and international QM certificate, consultants came to MÜHLE in Stützengrün over many months to take a close look at procedures and processes. Now it's done and the seal has been officially awarded.
The quality management standard ISO 9001 records that certain standards are adhered to in a company. In the broadest sense, it is about ensuring the quality of products, customer satisfaction and reaction speed in the long term. But internal processes such as communication and distribution of authority are also evaluated.
Radical changes were not necessary, but many things must now be documented more comprehensively than before. "We are pleased that we have now reached the standard. We have changed one or two processes," says Andreas Müller, "but fortunately it was not necessary to completely turn our company upside down - we have obviously already done many things right so far.
